The 1098S performed incredibly, with only 1 DNF all season, even though towards the end of the year it was doing most of the work, as I was consistently .50 of a second faster at each track on the Ducati, even being down at least 10 mph on the Suzuki GSXR 1000 on the top end! All this with a stone stock, out of the crate suspension package! My Suzuki is fitted with the best suspension components available and properly set up for my weight, yet the Ducati ended up running circles around it!
